Haychem Bangladesh Limited (HBL)

A 100% subsidiary of Hayleys Agricultural Holdings Ltd., established as a joint stock company in Bangladesh in 1997, is Haychem (Bangladesh) Ltd. (HBL). Its voyage began on April 1, 1998, in Bangladesh. Since 2008, Haychem Bangladesh Ltd. has had its own agrochemical distribution company. It quickly establishes itself as a reputable and high-quality agricultural product supplier among Bangladeshi farmers. Its market share is currently above 5% and growing daily. Geographically, HBL is present in 70% of the nation's territory and employs about 600 distributors.

 young agriculturalist SIHM Musfiqur Rahman was keen to participate in the agricultural revolution 20 years ago when Bangladesh was making strides to develop its agricultural sector. He wanted to aid his country after receiving his MBA from Australia. But, the well-known Hayleys PLC from Sri Lanka was also interested in investing in Bangladesh to help both countries' agriculture sectors grow sustainably. Hayleys hired Mr Musfiq as the first country manager of the Bangladeshi enterprise since their goals were similar. After 20 years, Mr Musfiqur's promise to work with Hayleys to realize his goals has become a reality: Haychem (Bangladesh) Limited, a significant player in today's Bangladeshi agriculture industry known for its high-quality goods.

There were challenges, but Mr Musfiq succeeded in making Haychem a well-known brand and a leader in the Bangladeshi agriculture industry with the assistance of both foreign and local colleagues. Every member of the Haychem family works toward the same objective that served as the impetus for the company's founding, and with the same guiding principle, Haychem is currently making progress in both the agribusiness and other business sectors of Bangladesh.
