The group was initiated by the self-made prominent businessman and a symbol of ethics in business management, the Late Latifur Rahman. TBL began its journey as the exclusive PepsiCo franchise for Bangladesh in the year 2000, which today operates modern plants in Dhaka and Chattogram for bottling leading soft drink beverages such as Pepsi, 7UP, Mirinda, Slice, Mountain Dew, etc.
