Faujdarhat Cadet College

Faujdarhat Cadet College (FCC), a military high school for students in grades 7 through 12, is modeled after public schools in the UK in accordance with the Public Schools Act of 1868 and is situated in Faujdarhat, close to Chittagong, Bangladesh.
For grades 7 through 12, the Faujdarhat Cadet College houses 300 males between the ages of 12 and 18—50 per year. A nationwide exam that consists of written, oral, medical, and ISSB questions is required for admission.
Field Marshal Muhammad Ayub Khan founded it as the first cadet college in what was then East Pakistan, facing the Bay of Bengal. On April 28, 1958 [1], it was founded by New Zealander William Maurice Brown. It was formerly known as the East Pakistan Cadet College until 1965.
The Bangladesh Army's Adjutant General's Branch appoints the school's principal, who holds the rank of lieutenant colonel.
The Bangladesh Cadet Colleges switched to the English-language version of the national curriculum in 2003.
