According to Shadhona, performance is an individual and collective act that aspires to A Center for Advancement of South Asian Culture has been working relentlessly to introduce young Dhaka fans to the performing arts of South Asia, particularly Bangladesh. The Board of Trustees of Shadhona is now directing the launch of a self-sustaining, membership-based performing arts network.
Members will be entitled to a monthly recital of performing arts by Bangladeshi artists for a yearly membership fee of Tk. 1000. Entrance fees must be paid in order for non-members to attend. Members of the Circle will be given preferred seating for other events that the Cultural Circle organizes.
The Cultural Circle's purpose is to:
1. Highlight the performing arts in Bangladesh by giving up-and-coming performers a stage.
2. Increase art patronage by raising awareness of the numerous performing arts subgenres in Bangladesh.
3. Highlight Bangladesh's performing arts' strengths
